WOMEN’S RETREAT

You've been hearing us talk about our Women's Retreat, but we figure you might be wondering, what is this thing going to be like?  Well, hopefully this will help answer any questions… 

We will head to Camp Kon-o-kwee in Fombell, PA (only 45 minutes north of the church), November 1 & 2 to spend some time building relationships, doing activities, and connecting with God.  We’ll hear from speaker Julia Allan who will help us refocus on the rest that only Jesus can provide from the chaos of life. Different this year will be some scheduled quiet time where you can rest and hang out with God- and a little more unstructured time to just be together.

Arrival on Friday night will be between 5-7pm followed by an introduction to our weekend plans. Afterwards, we can play board games, make smores, and hang out together and enjoy each other's company around a fire. [Please have dinner on your own before arrival]  

The sleeping arrangements are two to a room, but we will likely have space for each of us to have our own room... that way you can get a good night's sleep and be ready for the next day.  These are not bunk beds, but individual twin sized beds.  You will bring your own sheets unless you'd like the camp to provide linens for you.  If so, please select that ticket type when registering (small fee for this service). 

On Saturday morning we will gather for breakfast in the cabin.  Those joining us for only Saturday, please arrive by 9am for our first morning session.  (Yes! You can join us for just the Saturday portion!!! Pick the Saturday ONLY ticket on the registration page) The morning session will be followed by small groups/discussion and then an activity/free time.  Lunch will be around noon with a rest time built in before the afternoon session and discussion time.  Our plan is to wrap everything up and be ready to leave around 5pm.    

We really hope you will join us for this amazing weekend and take the time to step away from everyday life for 24 hours. It’s so refreshing to invest in yourself, your relationship with Jesus and the women around you. You may even walk away with a bunch of new friends, too!
